La música pop (del inglés pop music, contracción de popular music) es un género de música popular que tuvo su origen a finales de los años 1950 como una derivación del tradicional pop, en combinación con otros géneros musicales que estaban de moda en aquel momento. Los términos música pop y música popular se usan a menudo de manera indistinta, aunque el segundo tiene un sentido más amplio al dar cabida a otros géneros distintos del pop que se consideren populares.
CD9 es la nueva Boy Band Mexicana conformada por Alan Navarro, Freddy Leyva, Jos Canela, Alonso Villalpando y Bryan Mouque.
Con su primer sencillo ''The Party'' lograron atraer una cantidad impresionante de Fanaticas en el país y gracias a esto lograron firmar un contrato con Sony Music México. Con ''Ángel Cruel'' (Su segundo sencillo) lograron llamar la atencion de la prensa Mexicana y obtuvieron una cantidad enorme de admiradoras en Latinoamerica, principalmente en Mexico. Ahora se encuentran promocionando ''Me Equivoque'' el cual es el 3er sencillo de su album que sera lanzado a mediados de Agosto. La gran popularidad que han ganado atravez de Internet en tan poco tiempo les asegura una carrera exitosa.
