El eurodance es un subestilo de la música dance, típico de los 90 (1992-1996) en Europa, Oceanía y Sudamérica. Sus orígenes están en el dance y el pop. Es un estilo que aunque es dance, es muy comercial (el dance normal no lo es), sus canciones suelen ser bastante radiadas y populares. Estas canciones, se suelen incluir, además de recopilatorios dance, en recopilatorios de pop. Suele tener voces femeninas, trozos masculinos rapeados, o voces masculinas (menos común).
Ian Campbell nació el 22-03-1965 en Nottingham, al este de Inglaterra. Sus padres son de Jamaica. Ian creció en una zona de Nottingham llamada Hyson Green. Cuando estaba en el instituto sus iniciales IC rápidamente le dieron el apodo de ICE (Mas tarde interpretado como Ian Campbell Esquire). Tras dejar la escuela el anduvo por Nottingham unos cuantos años hasta que en 1983 se unio a un grupo de breakdancers y comenzó un tour por europa con ellos. En 1989 en Italia conoció a Roberto Zanetti, cantante, compositor (como Savege), y productor (como Robyx). Entre los dos hicieron un single llamado "Easy". El disco era del estilo hip-house. El single funciono muy bien por europa, pero no se considero como Eurodance, sin embargo en Estados Unidos si lo fue. Mas tarde al principio de los 90, Roberto Zanneti conoció a Alexia la cual se convertiría en la futura vocalista de sus temas Eurodance. Su album Ice'n'Green dado a la luz en 1994 funciono tremendamente bien y las dos temas que mejor resultado dieron fueron "Think About The Way", y su "Rainy Day" con Alexia. Otros grandes temas que el mismo álbum incluía fueron "Take Away The Colour", "Russian Roulette", "Dark Night Rider" y "Run Fa" cover. El álbum también salio en los Estados Unidos donde los dos grandes singles se hicieron moderadamente famosos en clubs de baile y radios.
Aunque el principal genero de esas canciones es el Eurodance, tiene una cantidad considerable de influencia Italiana. Esto se puede ver claramente en el tema "Dark Night Rider" y su "Rainy Day". Pero "Think About The Way" y "Rainy Day" gustaron tanto a los fans del Eurodance que todavía están sonando tanto en Europa como en Norte America. En 1994 debido a temas legales, ICE MC se separo de Roberto Zanetti y Alexia. En 1996, ICE MC volvio al trabajo denuevo con un nuevo álbum llamado "The Dreadatour" el cual fue producido por Masterboy. El tema estrella fue un tema puramente Eurodance "Give Me The Light", pero el álbum en si no triunfo mucho. Tras este, muchos creen que Campbell había provocado daños irreparables a su carrera
